What test do I need?
Worm count kit (1 x sample)
Tapeworm, Roundworm, Hookworm, whipworm and Coccidia
 
Lungworm test kit (3 x samples)
Lungworm, Heart worm, Fox Lungworm (1 sample per day for 3 days)
 
Combination kit (4 x samples)
Worm and lungworm
 
Giardia
For giardia testing in the lab
 
Combination plus (4 x samples plus Giardia test)
Worm and lungworm kit plus a Giardia lab test
How accurate are the test results?
A Faecal egg count is a snap shot of a specific moment in time. The test detects eggs of mature parasites that live inside the body and pass their eggs to the outside by shedding them into the dog’s stool’s.

It is possible that at the time of testing the parasites are too young to produce eggs, if no eggs are being shed the infection cannot be detected.

There is also a possibility the eggs are In such small numbers at the time of testing they would be undetectable.

For this reason, we recommend carrying out regular faecal testing every 3 months to monitor and intercept lifecycles.

For lungworm, we recommend carrying out a faecal egg count every 6 weeks. This is due to the lifecycle of lungworm.

How many times should I test?
We suggest testing for worms four times a year and lungworm every 6 weeks due to the Lungworm life cycle. You can also test anytime if you feel the need due to suspected illness.
When are my results sent?
Within 24/48 hours of your test arriving, you will receive an email with your results, please check you spam as well.

Any positive results will also receive a text notification from the lab (Feclab).

When will my order be sent out?
We will send your order the same day or the morning after depending on time of the order.
Return envelope delivery
You will have a free post 48hr return envelope in your kit.
Where do I store my samples
Samples can be stored outside in a cool place out of direct sunlight not in your household fridge.
